What is xQmail?
That is a good question! xQmail is a 21st century company whose goal it is to relieve e-mail users of their number one annoyance: Spam!
xQmail is a service suitable for anyone (private person or business) who has one or more domain names and wants to get rid of spam and virus e-mails in their mailboxes. It is also suitable for people running their own mail server. The following diagram shows how xQmail works.
Before (the current situation) all the e-mails addressed to your domain(s) are delivered directly to your server (or your hosting provider). Most of this mail consists of spam and virus messages and many providers do not provide adequate filtering. If you manage your own mail server, it may be that you do not have the time or the means to constantly keep your filters up to date. The solution to both these situations is simple: xQmail!
In the new situation all mail addressed to your domain(s) is delivered to us and filtered by our system. Only clean and safe messages are delivered to your server. Messages that are certain to be spam are discarded. Messages that might be spam are kept on our servers for you to review at a later moment, when you have the time to do so.
xQmail is currently available in ten different languages: Dutch, English, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Turkish.
